Institute of Microbiology of the CAS, v.v.i. (IM CAS) is part of the European infrastructure for translational medicine (EATRIS), comprising more than 80 leading academic institutions across Europe, which provide fast, tailored access to cutting-edge enabling technologies in translational research. Czech EATRIS network (EATRIS CZ), involving over 10 research institutes and universities, is managed by Marián Hajdúch, M.D., Ph.D. from the Institute of Molecular and Translational Medicine (IMTM), Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Palacký University in Olomouc.

ProteOn XPR36 Protein Interaction Array System
	The ProteOn™ XPR36 protein interaction array system is an SPR optical biosensor that provides real-time data on the affinity, specificity, and kinetics of protein interactions. Using XPR multiplexing technology, this system generates a 6 x 6 interaction array for the simultaneous analysis of up to six ligands and six analytes. This integrated system eliminates the need for radiochemical or fluorescent labels. Applications include antibody characterization and development, drug development, and protein complex and cascade analysis.
Liquid Scintillation Counter Hidex 600 SL
	The liquid scintillation counter Hidex 600 SL uses the robust and convenient triple to double coincidence ratio TDCR counting highly valued in the 300 SL series. With the added sample capacity of over 500 small vials or 210 large vials even the most crowded labs can rely on this high tech work horse. Samples are loaded in racks with barcode template identifier which makes multi user environment with different needs extremely easy.
Olympus Cell-R Microscope
	The Olympus CellR is a fully motorized epi-flurescence microscope equipped with a fast excitation and emission filter wheel allowing for fast multicolor 3-D imaging. A motorized X-Y-Z stage and and incubator (temperature) enables multi-position, long-term, live-cell imaging.
ÄKTAprime Plus
	ÄKTAprime plus is a flexible system that can be used for more general purification tasks such as buffer exchange, gel filtration, ion exchange, HIC, and affinity chromatography. The system has preprogrammed methods for typical applications such as purification of affinity tagged proteins, MAbs, and sample clean-up.
HPLC System ECOM
	The HPLC System ECOM is a flexible gradient system for use in effective analytical and preparative high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
G:BOX Chemi XRQ System
	The G:BOX Chemi XRQ gel doc system features a next generation CCD camera which has higher quantum efficiency and with lower noise levels, makes this system the perfect choice for extended fluorescence applications and chemiluminescent Western blots. The G:BOX Chemi XRQ gel doc system features 4 million pixel imaging utilising one of Syngene’s brand new CCD cameras. As with all Syngene Chemi systems, cameras are cooled to provide virtually noise free images with perfect backgrounds. Whether using the system for standard fluorescence applications such as DNA, or for chemiluminescence imaging, the G:BOX Chemi XRQ gel doc gives high quality results.
4D-Nucleofector System
	The 4D-Nucleofector system, the most advanced nucleofection platform currently available, allows for the efficient, non-viral transfection of primary and non-dividing cells as well as hard-to-transfect cell lines with high flexibility. The system is controlled by intuitive software on a touch screen user interface. It comprises a core unit, controlling the 4D-Nucleofector system, and a functional unit X, supporting nucleofection of various cell numbers in different formats.
Sorvall LYNX 4000 Superspeed Centrifuge
	The Thermo Scientific Sorvall LYNX 4000 superspeed centrifuge has 4L capacity and performance up to 68,905 x g. Advanced rotor innovations, including Auto-Lock rotor exchange, Auto-ID instant rotor identification and durable Fiberlite carbon fiber rotors, shorten run set-up time and increase rotor security. Real-time run monitoring and control can be done via a smart device and the Thermo Scientific Centri-Vue application.
Tecan Safire 2 Multi-Mode Plate Reader
	The Tecan Safire 2 is a sensitive, accurate and fast multidetection UV-Vis fluorescence and absorbance microplate reader, providing the high throughput and accuracy ideal for use in modern drug discovery and research. The flash lamp provides double the optical intensity and interchangeable flash frequency optimizes the Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer base measurements. Four adjustable slit settings of 2.5 nm, 5 nm, 7.5 nm and 12 nm and controlled bandwidth settings optimize the performance of this UV VIS spectroscopy by monitoring the amount of light, which enters the sample compartment. The Safire 2 plate reader has a wavelength spectrum array from 230-1000 nm for absorbance testing and 230-850 nm for fluorescence excitation emissions and it can measure samples accurately from a temperature range of 4-46 °C.
Eppendorf Centrifuge 5424 R
	The Eppendorf 5424 R Centrifuge offers a max relative centrifugal force of 21,130 x g and a temperature range of -10 °C to +40 °C.
